1. Offenses combine for 70+ points, no turnovers

This is going to be an interesting game script to follow on Monday Night Football. If the Los Angeles Chargers have been watching lately (they have), they’ve undoubtedly seen the formula to putting the Kansas City Chiefs on the ropes: Run the ball, run the ball and then work in some play-action before running some more.

Tennessee used that formula last week to knock off Kansas City. But the fact remains that the Chiefs still had a huge offensive day in which they put up 32 points and over 500 yards of total offense against a defense that, for the most part, has been better than the Chargers’ this season. Thus, you have to wonder if the Bolts will stick with the run for 60 minutes or if they’ll let Rivers loose a bit.

For my money, that’s more how this game will go. While Gordon, Austin Ekeler and the Chargers run game will keep them competitive against the Chiefs, Mahomes and Kansas City are going to put up big offensive numbers that force the Chargers to get into their passing game quite a bit. And with the prowess of these offenses mixed with shaky defensive play, the result is going to be a shootout.

In the 60 minutes of action, the Chiefs and Chargers are going to combine for at least 70 points (if not more) in a game that will be somewhat reminiscent of the Chiefs-Rams classic last season. More impressively and helping out the scoring, neither team will turn the ball over either on Monday, giving football fans quite the show to cap off Week 11.
