Indianapolis Colts (6-4) at Houston Texans (6-4)

Thursday, November 21, 8:20PM ET

Jacoby Brissett finally got back under center, the Indianapolis Colts showed out in Week 11. Albeit against a below-average Jacksonville Jaguars team, they got back to their winning ways and convinced me they’re a playoff contender with the right man at quarterback.

Obviously the Houston Texans are also worthy of praise at this point in the season. However, that comes with a small caveat — they just got demolished by the Baltimore Ravens. When I say demolished, I mean it. They suffered a 41-7 shellacking in which Deshaun Watson threw for only 110 yards and turned the ball over twice. Not exactly an MVP-caliber performance.

Now it is worth noting that the Indianapolis offense isn’t as explosive as Baltimore’s. And yet, they’ve got a highly underrated quarterback in Brissett, one of the best ground games, and an offensive line that strikes fear in opposing front sevens.

This won’t be an easy one for either team, as the AFC South crown hangs in the balance. Unfortunately, even with the home crowd at their backs, I don’t see the Texans walking away with the W. The Colts come to town and steal one, inching slightly closer to that spot in the postseason.

Prediction: Colts win 28-27
