3. Sanu posts first multi-touchdown game of 2019

Plenty of critics questioned the decision by the New England Patriots to give up a second-round pick for Mohamed Sanu before the deadline, but if all goes well over the next few months, the wideout could be a surprise factor for another Super Bowl run.

Since the Atlanta Falcons were clearly going nowhere before their recent two-game winning streak, the team had nothing to lose in giving up the veteran wideout, and Sanu wasted little time turning out to be a great fit on offense for the Patriots.

Even if Sanu only caught two passes for four years in New England’s recent win over the Philadelphia Eagles, keep in mind that he did catch 10 passes for 81 yards with a touchdown the previous game against the Baltimore Ravens.

With the Patriots facing the Dallas Cowboys and their high-powered offense, this could be one of those games in which New England needs certain players like Sanu to step up in order to keep up.

Part of the reason New England was so high on Sanu was due to their belief he was a missing piece to the offense, and Week 12 is another perfect opportunity for him to show off his skills.
