3. Defense picks off Allen 3+ times

Starting off with the defense, the Saints have truly been dynamic. There’s really no other word to describe them than that. While they looked a bit defeated against the Falcons, the team completely exceeded any and all expectations against the Bucs. In particular, the Saints defense generated multiple turnovers, including intercepting Winston four times, one of which was returned for a touchdown, and registering two sacks.

The defense took charge against the Buccaneers and I look for them to do the same against the Carolina Panthers. While Panthers fans were quick to praise Kyle Allen, his true colors are coming out now.

He hasn’t faced (or at least succeeded against) a defense as experienced and talented as the Saints are. Considering how well the Saints defense played against the Bucs, I predict that they will pick off Allen at least three times during the game.

Looking back at last week, Allen threw four interceptions against Atlanta and the team only put three points on the board. It was their worst loss of the year, but going up against the Saints could lead to a shutout.

While the Saints haven’t held a team scoreless this season, there is certainly reason to believe that they can do it to the Panthers. Even with Marshon Lattimore out, the team proved they’re still as strong and I predict that they’ll have a big day against the Panthers.
