New Orleans Saints: 3 Bold predictions vs. Panthers, Week 12
1. The Saints beat the Panthers by over 25+ points
This might have seemed far-fetched if Cam Newton was playing. With Kyle Allen under center though, the Saints have a chance to put some major points up on the board. Last week, they beat the Bucs by 17 points, which was impressive considering their seven-point margin of victory in October. Regardless, the Saints have a chance to possibly double that margin heading into Week 12.
Heading into this week, their meeting against the Cardinals is their biggest win yet. They beat the Cardinals by 22 points. Most of that was due to the defense allowing them only field goals but also an impressive performance by Brees.
Going into Week 12, I predict that the Saints will play so well against the Panthers that they’ll beat them by at least 25 points. Considering that the Falcons only allowed three points for Carolina last week and beat them by 26, it really doesn’t seem like much of a challenge.
Despite their performance against the Bucs, the Saints are still on somewhat shaky footing. If they can clock a good performance against the Panthers, their confidence will likely be back where it was.
While a win is a win, it would be nice for them to put together another huge win and shut the door on the Panthers making a comeback. Considering that they have to meet them again in December, it will be nice for them to have a solid first game and then wrap things up next month.
