Running Backs

Christian McCaffrey, CAR (at NO) $10,500 – The price is downright ridiculous but also might still be worth it for McCaffrey on DraftKings. Even without scoring last week, he had 33.1 points in DFS play. That’s unreal and there’s good reason that he’s going to cost you so much.

Ezekiel Elliott, DAL (at NE) $7,500 – Elliott has been bad lately, which has driven down his price a little bit. However, he’s going to get a ton of work against the Pats, who were gashed by Baltimore. This is a hunch in part but one with some narrative to back it up.

More from NFL Spin Zone

Jaylen Samuels, PIT (at CIN) $7,200 – This price is a little high but it’s not hard to see why. Samuels could catch 10+ passes on Sunday with the limited weapons available, which is super valuable in the PPR play.

Derrick Henry, TEN (at JAX) $6,900 – The Jaguars run defense has been a saloon door in the past two weeks. Meanwhile, Henry has had some monster games against their rivals in recent years. Tennessee is going to pound the rock and Henry could have a huge day.

Joe Mixon, CIN (vs. PIT) $5,900 – With Finley at the helm, Mixon has started to shine with at least 17.3 fantasy points in each of his last three games. Pittsburgh’s defense is good but his work lately is promising.

Kareem Hunt, CLE (vs. MIA) $5,600 – Since joining the Browns, Hunt has 14.4 and 11.8 points in DraftKings scoring. He’s a factor already in this offense and has the obvious skill to have his best day yet against the lowly Dolphins. He’s a better play than Chubb by far given the price point.

James White, NE (vs. DAL) $5,300 – With Vander Esch out for the Cowboys, I suspect the Patriots will look to get White involved as a pass-catcher often. In the PPR format, that means he’s a nice play here.

Benny Snell Jr., PIT (at CIN) $4,500 – When Snell got relief work in Week 6, he had 17 carries for 75 yards with one catch for 14 yards. Facing the Bengals in Week 12, he could get work again and provide great value.

Bo Scarbrough, DET (at WAS) $4,200 – Scarbrough came out of nowhere last week with 14 carries for 55 yards and a touchdown. Against Washington’s awful run defense, he could get the work again and have another usable day at a super low price on DraftKings.
