Week 12 vs. Packers

We’ve got a treat for NFL fans in store for Sunday Night Football in Week 12 as the 8-2 Green Bay Packers visit Levi’s Stadium. These are two potential Super Bowl contenders out of the NFC and the winner of this matchup will likely sit atop the conference standings after the game. And while Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay can contend with the Niners defense, the inverse is true as well.

More from NFL Spin Zone

Despite the improvements that the Packers have made on defense this season, their run defense has been entirely problematic. That bodes extremely well for the 49ers who prefer to unleash the run time and again. Coleman, Breida and Mostert will have a big night against the visitors from Titletown and will emerge victorious in a thrilling primetime affair.

Predicted Outcome: Win

Week 13 at Ravens

Looking at what the 49ers defense has done well this season, they’ve been lockdown against the pass, giving up only 173.5 yards through the air per game to opponents this season. Their run defense, however, has not been on the same level, conceding 110.5 rushing yards per game on the year. That’s bad news for a game in Baltimore against Lamar Jackson’s Ravens.

Despite the pressure that San Francisco can bring to try and rattle the second-year quarterback, Baltimore is incredibly adept at making plays in that situation with Jackson’s rushing ability and with Mark Ingram in the backfield with the quarterback. Given that the Ravens also give up only 94.3 rushing yards per game, the home team takes this one, handing the Niners their second loss of 2019.

Predicted Outcome: Loss
