2. Coleman, Mostert combine for 225 rushing yards

The Packers run defense has been one of the most suspect units in the league this season, giving up 126.9 rushing yards per game, which is actually improved from where they were a few weeks ago. Meanwhile, the San Francisco 49ers have been one of the most dangerous running teams in the league this season, going for 149.0 rushing yards per game.

Though Matt Breida is unlikely to play on Sunday night, Tevin Coleman and Raheem Mostert are more than capable of shouldering the load. While Coleman in particular has been pedestrian (or worse) lately, this matchup with Green Bay is what the Niners need to get the ground game back on track. And they will with the rushing duo combining for a huge 225-yard day.

1. Jimmy G avoids INTs, tosses two scores

In the past two weeks, the 49ers rushing attack has not been as effective as they’d like for it to be. As a result, Jimmy Garoppolo is averaging 45.5 passing attempts per game over his last two outings. Though the former Patriot has played well this season, that’s not the game-script San Francisco wants, especially because it’s led to three interceptions in those games as well.

Particularly with the Packers’ lackluster run defense, expect Kyle Shanahan to dial back the passing attempts for the 49ers on Sunday. More importantly, expect Garoppolo to be a more sound decision-maker against a talented Green Bay defense, looking for Kittle and intermediate options and leading to a turnover-free outing that should result in a huge victory.
