Green Bay Packers (8-3) at New York Giants (2-9)

Sunday, December 1, 1PM ET

The Green Bay Packers are 8-3, and I still had to seriously consider whether or not they would be capable of beating the New York Giants. The consideration was short-lived, but disappointing considering this should have been a snap decision.

Aaron Rodgers has been so hot and cold this season. Whenever he matches up with a top-tier defense, things go south in a hurry (reference: Week 12). Luckily for Rodgers and the Packers, the Giants’ defense is far from top tier. They’re actually ranked 26th in the NFL against the pass, which bodes well for the Green Bay air attack.

Furthermore, New York also isn’t great against slowing the run. That should open the door for both Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams to feast as they often have this season. Put simply, the Packers should have a plethora of opportunities to score points and put this game away.

Daniel Jones has been solid this year, and the future looks bright for the Giants’ young gunslinger. Unfortunately, going against the Packers’ dangerous pass rush should prove too tall a task on Sunday. The losing streak extends to eight games as their positioning in the 2020 NFL Draft improves.

Prediction: Packers win 27-10
