Oakland Raiders (6-5) at Kansas City Chiefs (7-4)

Sunday, December 1, 4:25PM ET

Holy cow, I had no idea the Oakland Raiders getting blown out by the New York Jets was even possible. Well it was as we saw in Week 12, which doesn’t paint a pretty picture for the Silver and Black’s chances of making a run at the postseason.

Especially against an exceptional Kansas City Chiefs team, the Raiders should have a rough go of things in Week 13. They’ll not only be facing stiff competition in an unfriendly environment, but they’ll have to slow down one of the most explosive offenses in the NFL led by the reigning MVP.

Yes, the Chiefs haven’t been as dominant in recent weeks as we expected. However, as Patrick Mahomes continues to get back into the swing of things after his early season injury, he’s only going to get better. With so many weapons at his disposal and Andy Reid calling the shots on the sidelines, Mahomes should have a big day against a subpar Oakland secondary.

It seemed as though the Raiders were positioning themselves to make a legitimate run at one of AFC’s Wild Card spots. Following that embarrassing effort against the Jets, though, I’m starting to think that three-game winning streak was a fluke. Time for the Chiefs to remind us all that the Raiders aren’t nearly as competitive as we were beginning to believe.

Prediction: Chiefs win 36-17
