3. Hollywood Brown notches another two-score game

Despite dealing with a number of ailments this year, both in the preseason and regular season, Baltimore Ravens first-round pick Marquise Brown has been able to make a big impact on the offense when on the field. Tight end Mark Andrews sets the pace as the team’s leading receiver on the season but Brown is not far behind with two fewer games played, catching 35 balls for 519 yards and six scores on the year.

In the shellacking that the Ravens put on the Rams last week, Brown played a key role in setting the tone early on. He hauled in an early touchdown pass from Lamar Jackson that put Baltimore in control early. Later in the contest, he helped to pour it on as he found the end zone for a second time, even though he only finished with five receptions for 42 yards on the day.

While the 49ers secondary has played well above expectations this season, the simple fact of the matter is that they don’t have anyone in that group of defensive backs to match the speed of Brown. And while Brown may not be about to break off 60-yard touchdowns like it seemed he may after the first week of the season, he’s going to use that speed to make big noise.

Particularly in the red zone and in crucial situations, expect the Ravens to look Brown’s way as Andrews draws a tough matchup for much of the day against linebacker Fred Warner. The rookie wideout will use his elite physical tools to find his way across the goal line twice for the second-straight game as a result.
