3. Stefon Diggs

Stefon Diggs, who has been the primary target in the passing attack and among the wide receiving crew up to this point in the season, might have an even larger role in the Week 13 contest on the road for Minnesota.

With wide receiver Adam Thielen officially out for the contest on Monday night while still attempting to get back onto the field while recovering from a hamstring injury he suffered a few weeks ago, Diggs will once again be an important target for Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins in the game.

More from NFL Spin Zone

Diggs has been fairly consistent throughout the 2019 campaign up to this point on the outside of the field for Minnesota, leading the team in numerous categories through 11 weeks of action coming into this weekend.

Coming into the Week 13 contest against the Seahawks, Diggs has appeared in all 11 games for the Vikings, ranking first on the team with 880 yards receiving on a team-most 46 receptions.

Along with averaging a team-high 19.1 yards per catch, Diggs is tied with Kyle Rudolph for the second-most touchdown receptions on the team behind only Thielen. Diggs has a total of five touchdown catches going into Week 13.

Diggs provides Minnesota with yet another option within the passing game that allows this offense to take things to the next level, which is exactly what it might need on the road against a high-powered offense on the other side of the field in Seattle.

Along with the dominant running attack led by Dalvin Cook and company, Diggs has paired well in the passing game alongside Rudolph, Irv Smith Jr. and even Cook through 11 games.

In order for the Vikings to try and go on the national stage on the road and steal an important NFC contest against the Seahawks on Monday night, the performance of Diggs will be big for Minnesota, and it will need him to step up and shine to try and grab the win.
