Dallas Cowboys (6-6) at Chicago Bears (6-6)

Thursday, December 5, 8:20PM ET

It’s do-or-die time for the Dallas Cowboys, who need a win in the worst of ways. Failure to continue picking up Ws will not only hinder their chances of making the postseason, but it could be the difference between Jason Garrett having a job and not by season’s end.

More from NFL Spin Zone

While the Chicago Bears are technically still in the running, they’ve got a much larger hill to climb. They’re currently chasing the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings, who have looked great as  of late and seem destined to make playoff appearances. At this point, the Bears are just hoping to stay competitive and see if they can get their offense running properly again.

So here are the questions that must be asked: Can the Chicago defense do enough to keep Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott and Amari Cooper in check? Or will Mitchell Trubisky make enough plays to secure the win in a game that could be a death sentence for either club?

With more on the line, I’m thinking the Cowboys come away victorious in Week 14. It won’t be pretty, but it’s a much-needed win for the leader of the NFL’s most unimpressive division. Dallas has the lead despite being 6-6, and desperately clings to it for another week with a win against the Bears.

Prediction: Cowboys win 24-16
