1. Cowboys

If the Dallas Cowboys find a way to beat out the Philadelphia Eagles for the NFC East title, Jason Garrett’s job will be safe for at least the first half of January with the team participating in the playoffs for a third time in four years.

But if the Cowboys fail to make the playoffs, there’s been plenty of speculation that Garrett will be out of a job since the frustration surrounding this team failing to live up to expectations have hit new levels in 2019.

When looking at all of the struggles surrounding the Eagles, most football fans assumed that Dallas would have little trouble beating out their rivals for the division title, yet the Cowboys only remain one-game up heading into Week 14.

For years, Garrett has received all sorts of criticism since a team like the Cowboys with all of the talent on both sides of the football should have arguably been able to reach at least one Super Bowl by now.

It may sound unfair to some to claim these next few weeks will determine Garrett’s fate in Dallas, but if the team were looking for a head coach with playoff experience, and knows what it takes to reach the Super Bowl, Rivera could be their guy.
