Stud: D.K. Metcalf, WR

While the rookie did fumble, he was Seattle’s leading receiver for the game. In a matchup where Tyler Lockett made zero catches on three targets, Metcalf stepped into a leading role for Seattle’s receivers. He made six catches on seven targets for 75 yards.

More from NFL Spin Zone

Metcalf, a second-round selection out of Ole Miss, now has 44 receptions, 705 receiving yards, and five touchdowns this season. He leads all rookie receivers in receptions and receiving yards. Washington’s Terry McLaurin is second place in both of those categories. Metcalf is tied for second place in receiving touchdowns, only trailing Marquise Brown‘s six.

There were concerns about Metcalf’s health and route running entering the season, but he has appeared in every game and is a crucial piece of Seattle’s offense. Metcalf does have three fumbles this year. That’s something he needs to work on for next year.

Stud: Bobby Wagner, LB

As usual, Wagner led the Seahawks in tackles. He posted ten during the game, including seven solo tackles. Wagner, who finished fourth in the NFL in tackles last season with 138, is tied for second in tackles through 13 weeks. He currently has 115, tying him with Arizona’s Jordan Hicks. Blake Martinez leads the league with 118 tackles, but both Hicks and Martinez lack Wagner’s pass coverage capabilities.
