Before the Minnesota Vikings host the Detroit Lions in Week 14 on Sunday, here are three bold predictions that will take place for the Vikings in the game.

The Minnesota Vikings will look to bounce back in Week 14 of the 2019 NFL season on Sunday against an NFC North opponent in Minnesota. The Vikings return back home to US Bank Stadium on Sunday afternoon coming off of a loss while welcoming in the Detroit Lions into a tough playing environment in Minneapolis.

Minnesota goes into the game at home in Week 14 against a divisional opponent following a 37-30 loss on the road against the Seattle Seahawks last Monday on national television, dropping it to 8-4 overall on the season.

In that game, the Vikings were able to jump out to a lead in the opening half of the Monday Night Football contest, but were outscored 27-13 in the second half to fall by seven in the game to a top-notch Seattle squad.

With the loss, Minnesota remains in the second Wild Card spot in the NFC standings, dropping to a game behind the Green Bay Packers (9-3 overall) in the NFC North standings. The Vikings remain ahead of the Chicago Bears (6-6) and Lions (3-8-1) in the division breakdown.

On the other side of the field, Minnesota will host a Detroit team that is coming off of a 24-20 loss at home against the Bears in Week 13. The Lions, who are in the bottom spot in the NFC North standings behind Green Bay, Minnesota and Chicago, will enter the contest this weekend having lost five straight games.

Before the Vikings take on the Lions in an NFC North showdown on Sunday afternoon at US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, let’s dive into three bold predictions that will occur throughout the contest for Minnesota as it tries to get back on track this week.
