1. Minnesota will remain perfect at home

Coming into the Week 14 game against Detroit, Minnesota is one of two teams in the NFL that continues to hold a perfect record at home this year. The Vikings will come into the game at 5-0 on the season in front of their home fans in Minneapolis, joining the New England Patriots (5-0) as the only two squads throughout the league who have yet to fall at home as we move into the final stretch of the regular season schedule.

The reason that Minnesota will be able to come back out on top at home in Week 14 is that it will just be too tough for Detroit to overcome in a hard, loud playing environment.

The Vikings, who are also hoping to get their full team back from injuries and on the field on Sunday afternoon, could be back to full strength heading into the contest. The Lions, on the other hand, are a bit short-handed and somewhat injury-filled at this point in the year. Most notably, Detroit is still without its veteran quarterback Matthew Stafford, who is trying to overcome a back injury.

There are many reasons why Minnesota is viewed as a more superior team than Detroit going into the contest on Sunday in Week 14, but the fact that the Vikings are returning back to US Bank Stadium and will be also playing the game in front of their always-loud purple and gold fans in Minneapolis will make for a long day for the Lions.
