Fantasy Fixture

As the season rolls on, it’s only appropriate that every week I discuss a little about America’s new favorite past-time: Fantasy Football.

I mentioned the Dolphins’ revival earlier, and no player has turned his career around better than DeVante Parker has. He’s never amassed 750 receiving yards or four touchdowns, Through 13 weeks, Parker has 854 yards and six touchdowns.

As if that’s not enough, Parker has been lighting up the fantasy landscape, too. He’s averaging 14.5 points (per ESPN PPR formats) and ranks 20th among all wide receivers. Parker’s also only posted single-digit scoring twice, back in Week 2 (0 against New England) and Week 3 (8.5 against Dallas).

After Parker’s incredible 34.9-point performance against Philadelphia, look at some of the players Parker is ranked above:

  • Stefon Diggs (21st)
  • Odell Beckham Jr. (25th)
  • Larry Fitzgerald (27th)

If you’re looking for another reliable option, take a peek at some of these guys:

  • Cole Beasley – He’s got a tough schedule, but his consistent production could warrant a roster spot.
  • Mike Williams – He doesn’t see many targets, though he’s the top deep-threat on a team that loves chucking the ball downfield. He’s got a favorable schedule, too.
  • James Washington – With Juju Smith-Schuster out, Washington has posted big numbers as Pittsburgh’s top receiving option.
