15. Jones sacked seven times

Looking back at the beginning of October, it’s hilarious to think how the New York Giants were considered a potential sleeper in the NFC as a result of Daniel Jones winning each of his first two starts, only to watch the team go on to lose their next eight games.

Clearly, there’s no reason to make that big of a deal over this since part of the reason behind the Giants throwing Jones in the mix early as a rookie was to provide some experience that would hopefully pay off in the long run.

Down the road, Jones will most likely look back at his rookie campaign, and be thankful that New York made the decision to start him over Eli Manning after two games, but also this doesn’t mean the final four games won’t be brutal for the Duke product.

Up next, Jones and the Giants head to the City of Brotherly Love to take on a Philadelphia Eagles team coming off a disappointing loss on the road against the Miami Dolphins, meaning they could be looking to take their frustration out on their rivals.

Prior to last weekend, the Eagles’ defense was the group actually doing the heavy lifting before falling apart against the Dolphins, and if Jones doesn’t find a way to receive the proper protection from his offensive line, the young quarterback will be sore on Tuesday.
