4. Anthony Lynn

In what may be one of the craziest statistics of 2019, the Los Angeles Chargers have lost every one of their eight games this year by single digits, showing exactly why Anthony Lynn finds himself on the hot seat.

One can only imagine the kind of position the Chargers would be in if they were able to close out even a few of these games, but unfortunately it’s become clear that change needs to be made in Los Angeles.

From deciding whether Philip Rivers is worth keeping around in 2020 or simply if the Chargers would be better off with a new head coach instead of Lynn, it will be interesting to see how the offseason goes for this team beginning in a few weeks.

After making an impressive run in the playoffs last year, the Chargers were expected to pick up where they left off in 2019 to continue being a top threat within the AFC.

Talent-wise, most head coaches would love to be in Lynn’s position with plenty to work with on both sides of the football, which makes this situation even more frustrating to witness.

Even if Lynn helps the Chargers end the year on a hot note, this still doesn’t take away from the “what could have been” factor in Los Angeles.
