3. Adam Gase

Just when it seemed like the New York Jets were heating up at the right time, Adam Gase’s team allowed the Cincinnati Bengals to finally earn their first win of 2019 this past weekend, which can only be described as embarrassing.

For weeks, teams have done everything in their power to avoid being the ones that allowed the Bengals to earn that first win in 2019, and while this may not seem like a big deal since the Jets were a long shot for the playoffs anyway, it’s still frustrating to see.

By winning three games in a row prior to Week 13, New York seemed ready to make things a little more interesting in the AFC if they could find a way to continue winning key games in the final weeks.

This could still very well turn out to be the case, but losing to the Bengals has resulted in Adam Gase returning to the hot seat yet again after enjoying a few weeks off.

Plenty of football fans haven’t been shy in criticizing New York for their decision from last offseason to hire Gase after seeing how things played out with the Miami Dolphins, and if the struggles continue for the Jets, moving on after one season shouldn’t be ruled out.
