Before the New England Patriots face the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 14, here are three bold predictions for the Patriots in the game.

The New England Patriots will head into the Week 14 looking to bounce following a loss a week ago. The Patriots will return back home to take on a tough AFC opponent after suffering their second loss of the year and second in their last three games.

New England will head back to Gillette Stadium on Sunday evening, a place where it has been extremely tough to face so far in the 2019 campaign, to host the Kansas City Chiefs. The Patriots are coming off of a 28-22 loss on the road in Week 13 to the Houston Texans, dropping their second game of the season and second game on the road to this point in the year.

In that game, New England fell behind early on in the game and tried to make a fourth-quarter comeback at the end of the game, but ultimately wasn’t able to complete the comeback and take the game away from home.

With the loss, the Patriots fell to 10-2 overall on the season, moving behind the Baltimore Ravens (10-2 overall) for the top spot in the AFC standings. New England does still remain ahead of the Baltimore Ravens, New York Jets and Miami Dolphins atop the AFC East division standings going into Week 14.

On the other end of the field on Sunday, the Patriots welcome in a Chiefs team that is riding a two-game winning streak following taking down the Oakland Raiders in Week 13 of the regular season last weekend in Kansas City.

The Chiefs, who are 8-4 overall on the year, remain in first place in the AFC West ahead of the Raiders, Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Chargers and will go into Week 14 tied with the Texans for the fourth spot in the AFC standings.

Prior to New England and Kansas City squaring off in an important AFC matchup on Sunday afternoon at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, let’s make three bold predictions that will occur in the contest for the Patriots in order to remain perfect at home this season.
