5. Aaron Jones rushes for over 100 yards

It’s been awhile since running back Aaron Jones eclipsed the 100-yard mark. After starting the season red hot, Jones has cooled off in recent weeks. In fact, Jones has only rushed for 56 yards over the last two weeks. With 645 rushing yards on the season, Jones needs to average 89 yards per game to eclipse 1,000 rushing yards for the first time in his career. Unlikely, but still possible.

Sunday’s game against the Washington Redskins presents an excellent opportunity for Jones to get back into a groove. The Packers are heavy favorites and are expected to win by double-digits. Because of that, it seems likely that the Packers will be trying to grind out the clock in the fourth quarter, feeding the ball to Jones to close it out.

Jones has only topped 100 rushing yards twice this season, but the Redskins are one of the worst defenses in the entire league. Washington is currently allowing 4.2 yards per carry and 132 rushing yards per game.

Jones has only logged a maximum of 13 carries in a single game since Week 6, but should receive more opportunities due to the Packers being ahead on the score board. In the two games that Jones rushed for over 100 yards, he received 23 and 19 carries. If he’s to eclipse the century mark this Sunday, he’ll likely need at least 17 or 18 carries to do so.
