Stud: Julian Edelman

Something that seems to occur basically every week, Julian Edelman once again led the New England receiving group for yet another contest, once again proving to be a reliable target for Tom Brady and company on offense throughout the game.

More from NFL Spin Zone

After Edelman helped set the tone early on in the game with an opening drive that ended in a 37-yard touchdown reception from Brady, the wide receiver finished the game with 95 yards receiving and one touchdown on eight receptions and 12 overall targets.

Edelman has been and continues to be a big part of this Patriots offense and that was once again the case on Sunday against Kansas City. Now, New England just needs someone else to step up alongside Edelman in the passing attack.

Dud: Sony Michel

For the most part this season, Sony Michel has been a running back that the Patriots have been able to rely on as far as being fairly consistent and a back that has been able to produce week-in and week-out on the ground for the defending champions.

But in the Week 14 contest against Kansas City, Michel struggled throughout the course of the game, finishing with just eight yards rushing on five carries while also being held out of the endzone on the ground. In the passing game, Michel wasn’t much better, finishing with just one yard receiving on one catch and one overall target.
