2. Eli finds fountain of youth with 300-yard day

In the two games that Eli Manning started to begin the 2019 season, the veteran quarterback was not good — but it’s worth noting that his numbers weren’t terrible either. He completed 62.9 percent of his throws (1.3 percent higher than Jones, for what it’s worth) for 556 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. Now he’s back for one last ride and he’ll make the most of it.

Look, Manning is not the gunslinger that the Eagles’ matchup last week, Ryan Fitzpatrick, is. However, he does have talented players around him like Barkley, Golden Tate and Sterling Shepard. And as the veteran two-time Super Bowl MVP sings his swan song on Monday Night Football, he’ll go out in a flash of glory as he keeps the Giants in the game with a 300-yard showing.

1. Wentz betters counterpart with 400 yards passing

As frustrating as Carson Wentz has been at times this season, the quarterback has proven capable of putting up numbers in good matchups. Against the Dolphins last week, the Eagles signal-caller threw for 310 yards and three scores. He also threw for 313 yards and three scores against Washington in Week 1. And the Giants defense is undeniably a favorable matchup.

With a young and/or struggling secondary, Big Blue’s defense is giving up 273 passing yards per game to opponents on the season. They don’t have a matchup for Jeffery or Zach Ertz in this game and Wentz will take advantage of that. He’ll target his two favorite targets in a pass-heavy game and end the day with his first 400-yard game of the 2019 season.
