4. Jeffery gets loose for 150 yards, 2 TDs

After not playing for almost a month, Alshon Jeffery was finally active for the Eagles last week and made a huge impact, albeit in a loss to the Dolphins. The veteran wide receiver caught nine of his 16 targets for 137 yards and one touchdown, which was actually his first 100-yard receiving game of the 2019 season. What it showed, though, was Wentz riding one of the few sure hands he has in the passing game right now.

That’s not going to change on Monday against New York. The Giants simply don’t have anyone in the secondary to match up with the size and physical prowess of Jeffery and the Eagles offense will exploit that. Zach Ertz will make his presence felt as well but Jeffery will be the go-to guy and will make the G-Men pay in a big way.

3. Barkley held below 40 rushing yards, tops 75 receiving yards

Despite all of the hype around him entering his sophomore season with the Giants, Saquon Barkley has not been able to deliver. Playing in nine games due to injury through 13 weeks, Barkley still has only 544 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns and, even more shockingly, has only 38 receptions for 291 yards and one score. However, when you look at the biggest difference between last year and this season, it’s at quarterback.

With Manning getting the start on Monday Night Football, I expect the quarterback to look for his safety option often in Philadelphia, especially with Evan Engram ruled out. And while I don’t have faith in the Giants offensive line to open holes for Barkley in the running game, I do believe in Barkley’s ability in space to make plays. He’ll do so with a big receiving night, even if he’s shut down in the rushing attack.
