Jacksonville Jaguars (4-9) at Oakland Raiders (6-7)

Sunday, December 15, 4:05PM ET

Surprisingly, the Oakland Raiders are still technically in the running for one of the AFC’s Wild Card spots. The Chiefs have already locked up the AFC West, but the playoffs aren’t completely out of reach for Jon Gruden’s bipolar bunch.

As luck would have it, they should be able to still alive in Week 15 against the Jaguars. As I already mentioned, Jacksonville is coming off a 45-10 walloping at the hands of the Chargers. Even with Gardner Minshew under center, the Jaguars struggled to get anything going on offense and were victimized on defense by Rivers and Austin Ekeler. It wasn’t a pretty sight to behold.

Even while riding a three-game losing streak, the Raiders should be able to capitalize on that type of inferior opposition. Derek Carr just needs to get his act together and play like the quality quarterback who know he’s capable of being. The return of Josh Jacobs would also help, although it’s unclear what the odds of that happening are right now.

Either way, the Raiders should be able to walk away victorious. This will be their final home game in Oakland, and they’ll be looking to leave fans hanging on a positive note. Gruden gets the win, and the Raiders stay relevant for at least one more week.

Prediction: Raiders win 21-16
