Atlanta Falcons (4-9) at San Francisco 49ers (11-2)

Sunday, December 15, 4:25PM ET

It’s about that time where we start looking really close at potential trap games, which this could certainly be labeled as. The Atlanta Falcons have been a different team down the stretch, while the San Francisco 49ers have stumbled a bit after an 8-0 start.

Still, I don’t think the 49ers have fallen that far so as to open themselves up for an upset of this proportion. We have to keep in mind that their two losses have come to two of the best teams in the league, while they’ve handled their business against everyone else. So, I think it’s safe to assume San Francisco will get the win in Week 15.

Jimmy Garoppolo is more than capable of shredding this Atlanta secondary, which has been a mess most of 2019. With players like Emmanuel Sanders and George Kittle to throw to, Garoppolo should have a field day. Even if he has a tough time, the 49ers can turn to their running game to move the ball up and down the field.

Matt Ryan should have another solid outing, but the San Francisco defense will prove too much in this one. The 49ers rack up a few sacks, a couple of turnovers and a key stop or two to ensure the wins keep coming.

Prediction: 49ers win 27-23
