9. Chiefs beat Broncos by more than 30 points

Not only did the Kansas City Chiefs recently clinch another AFC West title, but by beating the New England Patriots in Week 14, Andy Reid’s team made a huge statement about being able to compete for a first-round bye in the playoffs.

For most of the 2019 season, there has been some questions surrounding the Chiefs over whether they were the real deal since the offense appeared to have taken a step back, although a healthier Patrick Mahomes could have made things much easier.

Still, with the way Kansas City was able to defeat New England on the road, this team should be playing with all of the confidence at the moment, and love their chances to give the defending champions a run for their money when it comes to the No. 2 seed.

Luckily for the Chiefs, a Sunday meeting with the Denver Broncos should result in a fourth-straight win to put the team in better position to make this happen.

Even if Drew Lock continues to shine on offense the way he has over the last two games, Kansas City shouldn’t have a problem in this one, especially after winning with ease during their first meeting with Denver earlier in the year.
