Before the Atlanta Falcons take on the San Francisco 49ers in Week 15, here are three bold predictions for the Dirty Birds on Sunday.

The Atlanta Falcons head into Week 15 looking to build off of a nice performance a week ago at home in Atlanta. This weekend, however, it won’t be an easy task for Atlanta to have its winning ways continue moving into the final few weeks of the regular season schedule.

The Falcons will hit the road on Sunday to face off against a tough San Francisco 49ers team in an evening matchup at Levi’s Stadium in California. Atlanta comes into the contest after taking down the Carolina Panthers in Week 14 last Sunday in a 40-20 victory at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

In that game, the Falcons were able to put together an impressive second-half performance to end up topping the NFC South opponent by 20 points to grab their second win at home in the 2019 campaign.

With the win at home, Atlanta was able to improve to 4-9 overall on the season going into Week 15, although it still sits behind the Panthers (5-8 overall), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-7) and New Orleans Saints (10-3) in front of it in the NFC South standings.

On the other side of the field on Sunday, the Falcons will take on a dominant 49ers team that currently holds a record of 11-2 overall to remain at the top of the NFC standings. San Francisco enters the Week 15 matchup in California coming off of an entertaining 48-46 win over the Saints a week ago on the road in New Orleans.

Through 14 weeks of action, the 49ers sit atop the NFC West standings ahead of the Seattle Seahawks (10-3), Los Angeles Rams (8-5) and Arizona Cardinals (3-9-1) in the division. They also hold onto the top seed in the NFC playoff picture going into the Week 15 slate of games.

Before Atlanta travels to square off against San Francisco in Week 15 of the regular season on Sunday, let’s make three bold predictions that will take place in the game for the Falcons as they try to extend their winning streak to two straight games this weekend.
