Garoppolo and the San Francisco offensive unit is one of the more talented offensive groups throughout the entire NFL, and the 49ers certainly put that on display in a high-scoring shootout of a win over the Saints in Week 14 last Sunday in New Orleans.
After finishing with 48 points in the game, San Francisco displayed its ability to match up and overpower basically any other offense in the league, including the highly-talented New Orleans offensive squad. On Sunday in Week 15, the 49ers will look to continue that trend against the Falcons defense, a group that has improved as the season has gone along to this point.
Coming into the game, San Francisco’s offense ranks second in the league in points per game with 30.5 a contest while averaging 388.6 total yards per game, a mark that is fourth-best in the NFL.
Atlanta’s defense, on the other hand, has allowed opponents to score 26.4 points per game on average (26th in the NFL) while giving up an average of 366.4 total yards per matchup (21st in the league). The Falcons will have their hands full on Sunday evening in a matchup against a dominant 49ers squad, to say the least.
