3. Raiders offense hangs 40+ on Jaguars

The Oakland Raiders offense has gone into early hibernation. Since beginning a three-game winning streak against the Detroit Lions on Nov. 3, the Raiders point totals have gone down each game.

More from NFL Spin Zone

Against the Lions, they scored 31 points. Since they have won scoring 26 against the Chargers and 17 against the Cincinnati Bengals. However, in three straight losses, those total have continued to drop.

Jacksonville, meanwhile, has allowed opponents to pretty much score at will during a five-game losing streak. As recently as last week, they gave up 45 points to the very mediocre Los Angeles Chargers. For the Raiders, the Jaguars are the right team at the right time.

Jacksonville is the team the Raiders get right against. At 6-7, Oakland has a lot to play for the last three weeks of the season. Given it’s their last home game in front of the Black Hole, the Raiders will have some extra juice. So much so, that you can expect Derek  Carr to lead his offense to an explosive afternoon.

The Raiders go off in Week 15. Gruden will have his team ready for a big showing for the home fans, and his offense will score 42 points in stunning fashion. Oakland will get back on track for one last time in Oakland, as they score points in an absolute flurry.
