2020 NFL Draft order: Bengals nearly clinch No. 1, Dolphins move up in Week 15
With just two weeks and Monday Night Football remaining, the 2020 NFL Draft order is taking shape as the Bengals and Dolphins made moves in Week 15.
Entering Week 15, things were with the 2020 NFL Draft order as they had been for quite a long time: the Cincinnati Bengals were sitting with the No. 1 overall pick. However, the New York Giants were just one win behind them in the standings, meaning they had not locked it up entirely. That changed, however, on Sunday afternoon.
With the Giants picking up a victory on the road against the Washington Redskins, they moved to 3-11 on the season, putting them in a three-way tie with the Miami Dolphins and Redskins at that record. More importantly, though, the Bengals lost again to the New England Patriots, meaning they will have the No. 1 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft barring unforeseen circumstances.
As for the teams at 3-11, the Giants take the No. 2 pick still but the Dolphins have moved up to the No. 3 position ahead of Washington, which now sits at No. 4. Outside of that, there is a logjam in the back-half of the top 10 picks.

And perhaps the most curious of oddity in the NFC East is that either the Dallas Cowboys or Philadelphia Eagles will win the division and be picking at No. 21 or later while the other could flirt with a top-15 selection. That’s the state of the division at this point but it may all come down to their Week 16 matchup against one another in Philly after both teams won in Week 15.
Now that Sunday’s Week 15 action is in the books, let’s get into the 2020 NFL Draft order, noting that Monday Night Football between the Saints and Colts is still to be played and that picks No. 21-32 will be determined fully by playoff finishes.
