Stud: Late comeback

The biggest stud from the Week 15 victory for the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday evening on the road is the fact that the Falcons were ultimately able to complete a late-game comeback away from home.

More from NFL Spin Zone

Atlanta managed to come from behind, outscoring San Francisco 19-9 in the fourth quarter alone, to steal a game on the road against one of the best teams in the NFL. The fourth-quarter, late-game comeback completion was capped off by a touchdown pass from Matt Ryan to Julio Jones, capping off an impressive victory in San Francisco.

Overall, the win is impressive in general for the Falcons, but their late comeback that was ultimately successful at the end of the game was by far one of the top moments of the 2019 season to this point for Atlanta.

Dud: Containing Kittle

49ers tight end Georg Kittle managed to go off for 134 yards on 13 catches and a total of 17 overall targets to pace San Francisco’s passing attack. Kittle was basically able to operate freely throughout the entire game and that ultimately led to the large tight end target going off for over 100 yards once again this season.

Overall, San Francisco managed to finish with a total of 200 yards receiving through the air on 22 receptions with one touchdown. And Kittle was a huge part of that success in the passing game.
