Minnesota Vikings: Studs and duds vs. Chargers in Week 15

In the first half of the contest on the road, Diggs also surpassed a milestone for the 2019 campaign, surpassing the 1,000-yard receiving mark on the season. With surpassing that mark, the wideout became the seventh Vikings player to record multiple 1,000-yard receiving seasons, joining Chris Carter, Randy Moss, Jake Reed, Anthony Carter, Ahmad Rashad and Adam Thielen as the only other Minnesota receivers to do so.
Diggs has been an important piece for this Vikings offense to this point in the season, and he once again put that on display with both his performance and the milestone he surpassed in Week 15.
Dud: Dalvin Cook
At the beginning of the third quarter, Dalvin Cook left the game in the quarter with an injury that didn’t appear to look that great. Cook has been dealing with a chest and shoulder injury for the past few weeks leading up to the game in Los Angeles. The running back was quickly ruled out for the remainder of the game, finishing the contest with 27 yards rushing on nine carries.
The health of Cook is and should be of utmost importance for the Vikings moving forward, and we’ll see just how injured he is in the next few days leading up to next weekend’s matchup against Green Bay.
