1. Patriots will claim AFC East title

Both New England and Buffalo will be taking part in the playoffs this season and will be a part of the AFC playoff picture once the regular season schedule comes to an end in a short two weeks from now, but both teams have one more thing on their minds.

The Patriots and Bills will battle it out for the AFC East title on Saturday evening in Foxborough, with New England (11-3) holding a one-game lead over Buffalo (10-4) in the division through 15 weeks of play.

If the Patriots are able to come out on top in the game at home, they will be able to clinch the AFC East crown for the 11th straight season as they continue to try and overtake the Baltimore Ravens (12-2) for the top overall seed in the AFC standings.

Going into the Week 16 showdown, New England holds a record of 5-1 overall at home this season, suffering its first home loss of the season in Week 14 against the Kansas City Chiefs. Buffalo, on the other hand, has been impressive on the road this year, holding a record of 6-1 away from home going into the weekend.

At the end of the weekend, however, the Patriots will be too much for the Bills to handle on the road and New England will come out on top once again at home while grabbing its 12th victory of the season and claiming the AFC East title for yet another season.
