6. Eagles keep playoff hopes alive, beat Cowboys

All things considered, it’s amazing to think how the Philadelphia Eagles are even alive in the playoff hunt at this point in the regular season, especially with all of their missed opportunities to win favorable games.

Hope seemed lost for the Eagles when they came up short on the road against the Miami Dolphins, but the team has barely found a way to get by in each of the last two weeks with wins over the New York Giants and Washington Redskins.

In order for Philadelphia to have a fighting chance at the playoffs, they will need to at least defeat Dallas on Sunday, or the Cowboys will be the ones hosting an opponent at home in January once the playoffs get underway.

Despite how bad things have looked in recent weeks, Sunday seems like the perfect opportunity for the Eagles to finally look like a playoff team, and get revenge on the Cowboys after seeing how much they were embarrassed back in October.

Looking at the current group of receivers Carson Wentz has to work with, it’s unbelievable to see the Eagles quarterback to put up the numbers he has in recent weeks, and Philadelphia will need him to keep the momentum going on Sunday, or it’s going to be a long offseason.
