Ever since Peyton Manning decided to retire and call it a career, it’s been difficult for the Denver Broncos to find a reliable quarterback to build the franchise around.

From Brock Osweiler to Case Keenum, the Broncos have watched numerous quarterbacks attempt to be the next franchise quarterback, only to come up short for the most part.
Drew Lock clearly still has a long way to go when it comes to proving himself since the rookie has only appeared in three games for Denver, but those three games alone have provided plenty of excitement to the fan base.
Despite coming up short this past weekend on the road against the Kansas City Chiefs in snowy conditions, the previous two games before Week 15 saw Lock help the Broncos take down the Los Angeles Chargers and Houston Texans.
With five touchdown passes in those two wins, there’s every reason to believe that Lock could be in for his best game so far on Sunday when taking on a struggling team in the Detroit Lions.
Tossing four touchdown passes this early in his NFL career may seem like a long shot to some, but this prediction also says a lot about how impressive Lock has been so far in such a short period of time.
