3. Saints sack Tannehill 3 times

Last week, the defense made a lot of key stops and pressured Jacoby Brissett, almost leading to a shutout. However, in the fourth quarter, the Saints defense finally allowed the Colts to score a lone touchdown, though it was ultimately meaningless.

It was a huge milestone for the defense as they’ve played amazingly this season yet allowed their competitors to put up a decent amount of points.

There was one significant difference in Week 15 and it was the lack of sacks. The entire team finished the game with only one sack which was split between two players. Considering how impressive their defensive front is, it’s a little bit shocking.

Looking at Week 16, I believe things to change a bit in terms of sacks. Rather than finish the game with only one, I think that the New Orleans Saints defense is going to sack Ryan Tannehill at least three times throughout the game.

No surprise that at least one of the sacks will come from Cameron Jordan, who was voted to the Pro Bowl earlier this week. Additionally, another will come via Demario Davis who was subsequently snubbed from the Pro Bowl. Between those two, they will make sure that the quarterback goes down and that the rest of the defense follows suit.

Last week was surprisingly impressive and I don’t look for their momentum to slow down yet. If anything, the Saints defense is hitting their stride now.
