4. Eagles defeat Giants to win NFC East title

Never in a million years did football fans expect the Philadelphia Eagles of all teams to be in position to win the NFC East title with a win after seeing how this season has played out, but here they are heading into Week 17.

To say the Eagles have been one of the biggest victims of the injury bug this year would be a huge understatement since the team hasn’t been able to catch a break on both sides of the football, especially in the wide receiver department.

A few weeks ago, Philadelphia found a way to fight their way back in the pouring rain to help the Eagles take down the New York Giants, and all they need to do is figure out a way to do it again on Sunday when it matters the most.

Watching the Giants pull off an incredible win over the Washington Redskins this past Sunday as a result of monster games from Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley should have the Eagles on high alert, but also Philadelphia should be playing with a ton of confidence right now.

Defeating the Dallas Cowboys the way they did was a huge statement for the Eagles as far as being the NFC East favorites are concerned, and the team seems determined to make sure they do whatever it takes to make sure this opportunity doesn’t slip away.
