18. Dalton goes for four touchdown passes again

Embarrassing doesn’t even begin to describe what the 2019 season has been like for the Cincinnati Bengals, and while this team is expected to deal with numerous changes, Andy Dalton could end up being one of them.

In the offseason when the Bengals decided to hire Zac Taylor as their new head coach, part of the excitement was due to his history of developing quarterbacks to potentially help Dalton reach new levels.

Even though Dalton doesn’t deserve the entire blame for what has taken place in Cincinnati over the last few months, it will be interesting to see if Taylor and the Bengals decide to start fresh with someone new at quarterback.

Now that Cincinnati earning the top overall pick in April’s draft has become official, the Bengals will certainly have plenty of options to choose from.

But first, Dalton will be looking to build off last weekend’s performance against the Miami Dolphins in which he finished with four touchdown passes to display similar numbers against the Cleveland Browns.

For all Dalton knows, a strong finish to 2019 could convince Cincinnati to give their current quarterback another go for next season, although a fresh start may be best for both parties.
