2. Freddie Kitchens

Remember back in the offseason when the Cleveland Browns were considered a legitimate Super Bowl contender after acquiring Odell Beckham Jr. from the New York Giants?

At the time, it was easy to make this assumption since the Browns played surprisingly well in 2018 under Baker Mayfield, and seemed capable of taking the next step in the AFC as a serious playoff contender.

Instead, this current season made it clear that Cleveland is still a work in progress, and some changes clearly need to be made in the offseason to avoid another year of disappointment in 2020.

Whether one of these changes could be Freddie Kitchens at head coach, based off the frustration surrounding the Browns in recent weeks, this possibility shouldn’t be ruled out.

Once again from a talent perspective, Cleveland simply has too much talent on both sides of the football to finish with a losing record, and the Browns aren’t in position where they can afford to let another year in 2020 go to complete waste.

So once the offseason arrives to conclude another regular season of disappointment, if the Browns decide to move on from Kitchens to open up the door for someone new, this wouldn’t come as a surprise at all.
