The Atlanta Falcons have come on strong at the end of the regular season but can they finish that way on the road in Tampa for Week 17?

The final week in the 2019 NFL season is officially here for the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons will hit the road in Week 17, traveling to face off against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday afternoon in Tampa Bay in the regular-season finale.

Atlanta comes into the game riding a recent hot streak here in the final few weeks of the 2019 campaign. The Falcons will go into this weekend’s slate with a three-game winning streak at 6-9 overall and in third place in the NFC South.

The Falcons are coming off of a 24-12 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars at home in Week 16, their final home game of the regular season. That win gave Atlanta a final record of 3-5 in front of its home fans at Mercedes Benz Stadium while stretching its winning streak to three in a row going into Week 17.

On the opposing side of the field on Sunday afternoon in Tampa Bay, the Falcons will host a Buccaneers squad that is also playing well down the stretch of the year. Tampa Bay, winners of four of its last five games, goes into the divisional showdown with a record of 7-8 overall. The Buccaneers, however, are coming off of a 23-20 loss at home in Week 16 to the Houston Texans.
