4. Giants vs. Eagles

For the Philadelphia Eagles, all they need to do is earn a win on Sunday over the New York Giants, and Doug Pederson’s squad gets to participate in the playoffs as champions of the NFC East while hosting a game the first weekend of January.

However, if the last few weeks are any indication, this matchup with the Giants will be far from easy for the Eagles, as many believe they deserve to be on upset alert against their rivals.

Not only did New York nearly pull off a win in Philadelphia a few weeks ago in sloppy weather conditions, but the Giants’ offense has been on a roll these last two weeks with impressive wins over the Miami Dolphins and Washington Redskins.

Does this mean New York has what it takes to continue playing on a high level to make things more complicated for Philadelphia in the NFC East race?

With all due respect to the Eagles, it’s unbelievable to see the team still be in this current position despite all of the key injuries on both sides of the football, but also would make for an incredible playoff story.

As crazy as it sounds, this meeting between New York and Philadelphia could very well turn out to be a shootout, which would only add to the excitement of Week 17.
