20. Lynch held to less than 50 rushing yards

It’s still crazy to think about how Marshawn Lynch is back in the mix for the Seattle Seahawks to help fill their need at running back, and one can only imagine how excited fans are to see the veteran running back in action again for the playoffs.

More from NFL Spin Zone

Even though the Seahawks came up short in Week 17 against the San Francisco 49ers, this Seattle team is the last group that anyone should take a light approach with in the playoffs, especially if Lynch gets going in the ground game.

With that being said, as great as it was to see Lynch find the end zone in the loss to the 49ers, from an overall perspective, it was disappointing to see him only rush for 34 yards on 12 carries.

Of course, the argument can also be made that Lynch deserves some benefit of the doubt since this was his first action all year after previously enjoying retirement, but also the Seahawks running back could see a similar outing against the Eagles.

Philadelphia’s defense tends to play better at home, and knows just how dangerous of a running back Lynch can be when the space is there, so don’t be surprised if the Eagles do whatever they can to make sure this doesn’t happen for the Seahawks.
