3. Watt returns with 2+ sacks

This certainly plays into the lack of success that I expect Josh Allen to have in the passing game on Sunday. Traditionally in his young career, the second-year Bills quarterback has struggled mightily when facing pressure. He’s just not at a place in his development where he plays comfortably and composed in those situations. And J.J. Watt will make sure he’s in those situations on Saturday.

Watt was limited to eight games in the regular season and was banged up for some of those outings. However, he still managed four sacks in that limited time on the field prior to an injury ending his regular season prematurely. But with Houston making the playoffs, Watt is now slated to return against the Bills and the superstar defensive lineman will make his presence felt.

Even if the Texans keep Watt on a pitch count, he remains one of the most unblockable players in the league. The Bills will surely key in on him at times but they can’t afford to double-team Watt on every play. When they don’t, he’ll show off some fresh legs and find his way into Allen’s hip pocket.

Not only will Watt’s pressure force Allen into making some bad decisions but the Houston star will also get his own contributions to the box score. In his return to action, Watt will register multiple sacks on the day and really be an equalizer for a defense that continues to struggle in the secondary.
