Green Bay Packers: 5 Bold predictions vs. Seahawks in Divisional Round
By Joe Kipp
5. Aaron Jones scores two touchdowns
It’s no secret that Aaron Jones is the engine that keeps the Packers offense running. Jones led the entire NFL in both total touchdowns (19) and rushing touchdowns (16) during the regular season. He also racked up 1,558 scrimmage yards. Simply put, good things happen when Jones touches the ball.

Thankfully for Green Bay, the Seahawks have one of the worst run defenses in the entire NFL. This season, Seattle is allowing 4.8 yards per rush attempt (27th in the NFL), including 5.6 yards per attempt over their last three games (29th). Additionally, the Seahawks allow an average of 1.3 rushing touchdowns per game (30th), including an average of 1.7 over their last three games (28th).
Meanwhile, Jones is averaging 4.6 yards per attempt this season and averages one rushing touchdown per game, scoring in 10 of Green Bay’s 16 games. Aside from Jadeveon Clowney, who’s one of the best run stoppers in the NFL, the Seahawks don’t have the personnel to match up well against the Packers offensive line.
The Packers will need Jones to show up big on Sunday, especially since the Seahawks pose an easy matchup for Green Bay’s star running back. There’s a strong possibility Jones scores at least one rushing touchdown, but I’m calling for him to score at least two.
