2. Re-sign Logan Ryan

For whatever reason, it feels like the season that cornerback Logan Ryan had with the Titans is largely going unnoticed. However, in a year where Stephon Gilmore and others aren’t doing absurd things, Ryan might legitimately be in the Defensive Player of the Year conversation.

Playing all 16 regular season games, Ryan led Tennessee in tackles with 113, had four interceptions, four forced fumbles, 18 passes defensed and even had 4.5 sacks on the season. Put simply, the veteran corner was an absolute stud that showed up all over the field for Tennessee.

As Ryan is slated to hit free agency, Robinson and the front office must go after Ryan to lock him up. Yes, they have other big decisions to make but it’s hard to let a player of his caliber go, especially when Malcolm Butler has been difficult to rely on to this point. Re-signing Ryan could help to keep an underrated defense performing at a high level moving forward.

1. Get deeper at wide receiver

Once Tannehill took over the offense in the 2019 season, the pass-catchers in Tennessee really took off. Rookie A.J. Brown had a monster year with 52 receptions for 1,051 yards and eight scores in the regular season while Corey Davis had 43 grabs for 601 yards. Furthermore, Adam Humphries and Tajae Sharpe each had over 325 yards and multiple touchdowns.

While that may all be true, the Titans could take advantage of deep free agency and draft classes at wide receiver and strengthen this group. It might not be a top priority — particularly in April’s draft proceedings — but it’s a way to make an already talented and capable roster a bit deeper and, thus, stronger.
