4. Take Kittle out of the game early

Throughout the course of the season, San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle has been one of the top tight ends and receiving targets in the NFL. On Sunday in Super Bowl LIV, Kittle will be a big X-factor for San Francisco in what it is able to accomplish on the offensive side of the ball.

For Kansas City on the other side of the ball, it will be an even larger key to try and take Kittle out of the game early and often throughout the matchup, ultimately putting a snag in the 49ers’ offensive potential.

Leading up to the Super Bowl, Kittle has recorded four receptions and 35 yards in two games in the postseason thus far. It will be highly likely, however, that he will play a key role in the big game this weekend against the Chiefs.

Kittle wrapped up yet another top-notch season in the third year of his NFL career for San Francisco throughout the course of the regular season, finishing with over 1,000 receiving yards and five touchdowns for the second straight year.

Kittle presents the 49ers with the opportunity to open things up on offense in the passing game, including a deep-ball and red zone threat that can take over a game at any given moment.

While the Chiefs try and bring home a Super Bowl title this season, one of the biggest X-factors will be what they will be able to do when it comes to defending Kittle and trying to take the dominant tight end out of the game in Miami.
