5. Jump out to a fast start

Which team gets off to the best start could be the biggest factor in deciding Super Bowl LIV. The game between the Chiefs and the 49ers will likely be a battle early on in the course of the contest, with both offenses thriving on the biggest stage of the season.

Often times when it comes to the Super Bowl and the playoffs in general, you see teams coming out in a game on a slow start while often trying to shake nerves that take place on a big stage.

For two teams who have a decent amount of personnel on both sides who will be taking part in the Super Bowl for the first time on Sunday, those nerves will appear early on among many players and coaches.

That reason alone is why it will be important for the Chiefs to try and put the pressure on the 49ers early in the opening half and in the first quarter, while attempting to jump out to an early lead and forcing San Francisco to play catch-up right out of the gate.

In any given game, it’s important for teams to try and be able to jump out to a lead early on in the game. But perhaps in Super Bowl LIV more than ever this season, it will be key for Kansas City to try and take advantage of grabbing early momentum in the game as it tries to bring home the NFL title.
